The Information System for Improving the Effectiveness of ECE Services During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Purpose – The pandemic-era policy that requires schools to conduct face-to-face meetings is an issue cannot be taken "lightly". trend of learning has entrenched makes schools, including ECCE institutions, "profitable". There are not many alternatives can done, other than using online face applications have been popular such as Whatsapp and Messanger. However, the use these cover all Early Childhood Education (ECE) needs with their own characteristics generally different from at levels education. Therefore, a more suitable system needed through Si-Pappa Information System/Application. Design/methods/approach For this purpose, in study, PAR (Participation Action Research) Method was used assisted objects, namely 10 ECE Institutions Palopo City which partners Islamic IAIN Study Program. Data collection methods utilizing Performance Tests reinforced by unstructured interviews direct observation. Findings results data analysis, parameters implementation service were achieved, average participant who able master 83%. From this, it concluded Application Systems (Si-Pappa) improve effectiveness services during pandemic City. Research implications/limitations This study related problems COVID-19 pandemic. Practical implications application allows parents measurable consultations existing menu, making teachers provide methodical assistance because video calls made directly integrated into each participant's account so reviewed or confirmed menus autentic assessment conditions show photos children, flow charts worksheets activities, anecdotal notes special unique various comparative determining mood conditions, causes decisions follow up determine wiser comprehensive solution for children.
